Iron Ore Lumps and Fines Production & Supply Process
Process 1
As per Geological Survey reports the deposits of Iron Ore in mountains of Barbil, Joda & Koira Sector.
Process 2
Holes are drilled to plant dynamite which is blasted to break large stone plate having iron contents, in to pieces called Boulders.
Process 3
After the blast, Excavators are used to move the Boulders.
Process 4
The Boulders are then broken into pieces suitable for crushing called Lumps. And the remaining dust part is called Fines.
Process 5
Lumps are than crushed in Crushers to make different sizes (e.g. 5-18, 10-40, 10-30 etc.) of Iron Ores which is called CLO (Calibrated Lump Ore). Conveyor belts attached to crushers which carry the ore through sieves thus segregating CLO of different sizes and Fines.
Process 6
The major buyers of Iron Ore Fines at present are China, Japan and Korea.
And Iron Ore Lumps are domestic Steel Plants.
